HCM vocabulary, no fluff

The terms that show up again and again in human capital management, explained in one line.

HCM
Human Capital Management: managing the full employee lifecycle, broader than a traditional HRM (usually limited to payroll and records).
PEPM
Per-employee-per-month: a pricing model per active employee per month, common in HR SaaS.
SCIM 2.0
A standard to automatically create, update, and deactivate user accounts across systems. Lets HR hires and departures propagate to identity.
ISO 30414
International human-capital reporting standard: defines comparable metrics for turnover, cost, diversity, and productivity.
Reconciliation (confronta)
Reconciling what was declared to IMSS/SAT (EMA, EBA, CFDI) against actual payroll, to catch discrepancies before an inspection.
NOM-035
Mexican standard requiring the identification and prevention of psychosocial risk factors at work.
NOM-037
Mexican remote-work standard: agreements, attendance records, and the right to disconnect.
REPSE
Registry of Specialized Service Providers: a mandatory registry for specialized subcontracting in Mexico.
eNPS
Employee Net Promoter Score: how likely an employee is to recommend their company as a place to work.
Compa-ratio
The ratio of a person's salary to the midpoint of their salary band; measures pay competitiveness.
SSO
Single Sign-On: log in once to access multiple applications, via SAML or OIDC.
ATS
Applicant Tracking System: software to manage the recruiting flow, from opening to offer.
